Do you smile when you think of Jesus? Do you have goofy thoughts of Him as you go throughout your day? Are you infatuated with Him? Is He your only hope, the reason why you live? Not as in you live because Jesus saved you, but as in the only reason you DO life is because of Jesus. Perhaps we should love like this.
Sure, its true you are alive today because of what Jesus did. But what if the only reason we walked through life, the only thing we STRIVED for was Jesus? Ya know, He calls us to an intimate relationship with Him! We are to surrender everything to Him; our hurts, our pains, our joys, our delights, our silly stories, our depressing moments... EVERYTHING is what Jesus wants. Its what He deserves! God deserves you to give not the best of you, but ALL of you! He doesn't want you to try harder, or be better. He wants you to watch Him try FOR you. He wants you to watch Him be better FOR you. His burden is light! All He calls us to do is love! What greater calling do we have? What greater purpose could we live for than to LOVE? And we don't even need to use our own love, God SUPPLIES the love we are supposed to love with! If only we would surrender all of us to Him!! As I strive to surrender myself to His will, all of myself, I challenge you guys to do the same! What are we holding back from Jesus?
