So! Prayer. Its a word overused, an action little applied.
I have heard it described as texting, a phoneline conversation, a coffee shop conversation, a wifi signal, and many other things. You guys, its a way to speak with Jesus. Pure and simple. If you love Him, and you wanna talk, just go. Don't hold back. He already knows everything, He just wants to hear your voice! He wants you desperate for Him, in the same way He is desperate for you! There are many different prayers also... you can "bullet prayer", where you take two seconds and ask/thank God for something, you can do a "normal" prayer, where you sacrifice time from your day, fully acknowledge God for who He is, and spend a good amount of time pursuing Him. Then my favorite, the dwelling prayer! You are always in God's presence, constantly worshipping and asking from Him. A good prayer life should include a mix of all these...
But most of all, remember prayer is a way to connect with the lover of your soul! You don't need to format your prayers, or adjust them so they sound 'better'. God could care less HOW it sounds, just that it SOUNDED!
