Did you know that the phrase, "Do not be afraid," is written 365 times in the Bible? Three hundred sixty five. Thats one for every day. God's cool like that!

You see, God's got our backs. Even when we don't love Him, He still loves us, because after all; love is a choice. He CHOOSES to give us grace and mercy, even when we don't choose to give Him our faith and life. "Do not be afraid." And why not? Why is fearlessness an option?

Fear grips every one of us. It radically shapes the decisions we make and the ones we don't make. Fear is what defines us. We either stand for what we believe and are outcast, or step down from proclaiming our beliefs and get accepted. Acceptance is not love. Acceptance is refusing to face the consequences others may recieve, and in doing so, knowingly let them face unnecessary trial and hurt. But when we are dauntless, we are outcast by the world and LOVED, truly loved, by our GOD.

How can we be fearless; the question that grips the mind of everyone, including myself. Sometimes our fear is just TOO big or TOO strong. Think about it this way: will stepping up affect ETERNITY? Will giving in to fear have any impact whatsoever on your infinite life? You see, getting laughed at or mocked is such a trivial thing. Especially in the face of ETERNITY... who is gonna remember being mocked when they are in Heaven with Jesus?

Problem is: the here and now. We as humans have so embraced the "yolo" (you only live once) spirit that the here and now has consumed our every thought. Right NOW I will be mocked and feel sad. Right NOW I will be beaten and bruised.

NOW ISN'T AN ISSUE!! GOD HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD!! How can I punch this into my puny little head?!? It seems impossible to overcome, and yet, many have! It takes FAITH yall! Faith!! A mature Christian who can stand upon their beliefs and not be shaken!! GOD IS OUR STRENGTH!! So where is He when we need Him most? RIGHT BESIDE US! We are BLINDED by our fear so we CANNOT see JESUS, our fearlessness, RIGHT BESIDE US!!

Goodness. Fear is such a pain. Once I fully come to understand what I've written and I become fearless... that day will be glorious. But its not in my strength that I'll find fearlessness, its our dauntless God that shows us the way. God bless yall, and #LiveItLikeJesus!!
