Ok, if ya'll knew me, you would know I always talk about chivalry. But chivalry isn't dead, and it definitely isn't just geared towards ladies. Being chivalrous is being selfless mixed with lots of respect. Opening the door for a crowd of people is a common example. Many do it just to be nice, but if you smile, make eye contact, and say a 'your welcome' for every thank you, THEN they see the love of Jesus! Being chivalrous means to stand up for those around you, and protecting them from harm. It means loving on those you dislike. Its saying "Yessir" or "Yes ma'am" to those who deserve respect. Chivalry is the way Jesus lived: selflessly, with respect for EVERYONE! Notice how He didn't cringe and run away when confronted with ten lepers, rather, He touched them and offered healing. So for ALL the pain in this world, we are too blind to reach out and offer healing!! Our pride blinds us! I would encourage you today to reach out to someone you know, or even don't know, and ask them how they are doing. That means the world to a hurting person, and you may get to share healing: Jesus.
Practice your chivalry today!!
